JDLab has added a new line of artwork for our sports products in JD Pick-a-Pack for School, Sports & Events.
The Champion line of products include drag-and-drop templates for traditional items like memory mates, calendars, trader cards, tickets, magnets, magazine covers, and teams. In addition, we have templates for popular add-on products like water bottles, bag tags, coffee mugs and mouse pads. New products in this collection include an 8×18″ pennant, 10×20″ and 16×20″ posters, and car flags that can display the team name and logo.
Because you asked for it, for the 2017 season we even have Champion templates for the iPhone 6!
Champion templates are available for Baseball, Basketball, Cheer, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Hockey, Softball, Soccer, Swim and Volleyball. Need templates for additional sports? Just let us know.
Over the next few weeks we will be updating the JD Pick-a-Pack for School, Sports and Events catalog. The goal is to make products easier for you to find, and to make orders move more efficiently through the lab. This means faster print turnaround – and fewer mistakes on orders.
What does this mean to you?
The new Pick-a-Pack catalog changes can have an effect on products or packages saved as favorites if the products in the packages are updated or removed.
Here’s a short video that shows how easy it is to send your first order.
Mac Users running version 10.10.5 Yosemite or older should upgrade to the latest OS X 10.11.1 if they are experiencing crashes in JDLab2You or Pick-a-Pack. Apple’s latest operating system “El Capitan” works with JDLab2You and Pick-a-Pack.
Why should you upgrade? As a result of optimizing our software to work with El Capitan, it is now having trouble with the older versions including Yosemite and Snow Leopard.
Mac computers introduced in 2009 and later, and some models introduced in 2007 and 2008, can also be upgraded to El Capitan.
Click here to learn more about the update. In most cases, the upgrade will be free. Some older Macs may not be compatible or could be subject to upgrade fees.
This video will show you how to create and modify image and text nodes in JDLab2You or Pick-a-Pack.
Cropping an image can sometimes be a challenge, but JDlab2you gives you a great set of tools to work with. Here’s a quick guide to help you through them and hopefully provide some productivity tips as well.
First, remember WYSIWYG: “What You See IS What You Get.” For example, if your original image has plenty of space above the subject’s head, yet when you drop it on to an 8×10″ print format the head is cut off, don’t assume that the print will look fine. JDlab2you will show you exactly the crop that will be applied to your image on the print.
JDLab2you and Pick-A-Pack now have a search option to make it easier to find a specific product.
One of the benefits of JD’s Pick-a-Pack for School, Sports & Events is the ability to create custom packages of groups of products for each client, or to use them for multiple clients to save time. Here’s how it works:
Have you ever had a client ready to place an order, but hesitant because they couldn’t see what it would look like first?
With the Render feature in JDLab2You, you can quickly and easily show your client what any product in our catalog will look like with their custom image(s). The Render feature allows you to create thumbnails of every item in your cart with a watermark – show clients what they will get before you order it. Read more
